Doom 毁灭金属，节奏和速度都很慢，非常得慢。较不激烈也不大具有攻击性，有些是对战争的不满而写的歌，虽然旋律慢，但仍是相当拥有重量感的音乐。通常具有非常干净的音乐和歌声，但有时也有粗暴野蛮的声音出现。

Draw Me – Sonata Arctica 选自《The End of this Chapter》专辑
Sonata Arctica于1996年，在世界的边缘——北芬兰的一个叫Kemi的小镇上成立。乐队最初以Tricky Beans为人们所知，乐队用这个名字制作了三首demo（Friend till the End,Agre Pamppers和PeaceMaker）并在Jyrki举行过两次演出。经过1997年的一些人事变动后，这些人把乐队又改名为Tricky Means。在金属乐圈子里乐队最早被认为做实验性音乐，与重金属相去甚远。
1999年乐队在他们家乡的Tico Tico录音棚里录制了一首新的demo名叫“FullMoon”，从此乐队的历史翻开了新的一页。录音时乐队的阵容包括：Tony(主唱和键盘),Jani(吉他手),Tommy(鼓手)和Janne(贝斯手)，这首新的demo是乐队对于重金属音乐的首次尝试。从此乐队以迅疾优美的旋律和以键盘为主导的重金属配以清澈洪亮的嗓音而闻名于世。在命运的驱使以及Tico-Tico录音棚的Ahti Kortelainen帮助之下，“FullMoon”这首demo被芬兰优秀的金属品牌——Spinefarm相中。同时乐队也从Tricky Means改名为Sonata Arctica。

Theatres Des Vampires（吸血鬼剧院）是来自意大利罗马的著名歌特金属乐队，成立于1994年。作为继Cradle of Filth（污秽的摇篮）、Graveworm（坟虫）和Siebenburgen（德考拉的家乡）之后又一支迷恋吸血鬼文化的乐队，Theatres Des Vampires的吸血鬼/歌特黑金属风格非常纯正。乐团继承吸血鬼黑金属的一贯惊骇造型，女主唱Scarlet一袭白沙长裙，阴森的眼窝，唇边流淌着鲜血的造型可谓此风格之经典．乐队的过人之处在于其对氛围的把握，歌曲极显歌剧气势。

Timeless Miracle is a power metal band from Malmö, Sweden, formed in late 1995.Originally named Trapped, the band soon broke up without releasing any materials. The collective re-formed in 2001 and recorded three demos. Having changed their name to Timeless Miracle, the band released their début album Into the Enchanted Chamber through Massacre Records in 2005. The band began recording their second album, Under the Moonlight in May 2007, but hasn’t released any updates since September 2008; their web-site is currently down.

With their songs about alienation and the struggle to find ones way in an ice-cold, efficient world delivered with an inherent musical and literary quality, Ghost:Dog has left their mark on the musical scene in Norway since their first liveshows as support for Madrugada on their tour of Norway in 2006.
Later the same year the band participated at the Norwegian Zoom bandchallenge, arranged in Trondheim before going on to By:Larm and a nomination for band of the year
In 2008 Ghost:Dog finally decided to record their forthcoming debut “First book of Samuel” and sat out to find the right producer and the right studio. The obvious first choice was John Cornfield and Sawmills studio in Cornwall, England.
09.02.09 Ghost:Dog released their first single “Grand Idea”, on their own label “Celestial Rock”, with distribution through EMI music Norway. “First book of Samuel”, set to be released in mid -09, is a collection of songs whereof some where written out of sheer therapeutic necessity, as the sole means of venting in the proverbial industrialized-small town-prison of seemingly perpetual gloom. The rest of the material was added later, in profound gratitude over the rescue operation performed by love at a moment in life where its outcome seemed long since decided and by forehand written in the stars.
Monotalk – Full of Nothing 选自《Fix Me Up》专辑
Monotalk 来自以色列Tel Aviv，是一支 based band, 成立于2006年。成员有3人：Israel Erez (songwriter, keys, and guitar player), Yoav alyagon (guitars and drums), and Roy Regev (guitars and sampling). The three members are performing and working together ever since. The band had just finished recording its first album with Samuel Daniel, well acclaimed Israeli producer. The recordings took place during 2008-09 @ Hook Studio and HOOK&high Mastering, Tel Aviv.The album presents a unique warm ambience and dominant vocals, delivered through multiple layers of Fender Rhodes, guitars, samplers and a smooth Hammond, alongside an analogical base and warm live drums. The album portrays some intriguing electronic moments.
